6. Continuous Improvement: Training and Qualification
The goal of the Tchibo Social and Environmental Monitoring Programme for ensuring social
and environmental standards is the initiation of a continuous improvement process at the
manufacturer level. A Code of Conduct and the execution of audits make up only two
instruments and often fail to prompt sustained improvements that are demonstrably felt by
the employees.
For this reason, Tchibo launched the WE (Worldwide Enhancement of Social Quality)
Programme in September 2007, in cooperation with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für
Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and the Federal Ministry for Economic
Cooperation and Development (BMZ). With this programme, we aim to achieve far-reaching
and long-term improvement of working conditions and increased productivity in factories.
Instead of merely pointing at violations from outside, we empower employees and managers
to improve the working conditions at their factories from within. The focus of the programme
is to establish an on-going dialogue between a factory’s operational levels, from top
management to middle management to the workforce.
Local trainers, who receive intensive training and on-going coaching from international
consultants, are responsible for the implementation of the WE Programme. During
workshops and factory visits, trainers coach managers and employees on how to better
communicate with each other at work, and how to solve conflicts and problems together.
They guide the participants to independently develop and implement measures for their
factories.

6. 持續改進:培訓和資格認定

不應僅僅在外部指出違規項,在內部我們授予員工和管理者改善工廠工作條件的權利。程序的重點是建立持續的溝通制度,從高層管理層到中層管理層到員工之間。
接受過集中培訓和國際咨詢師的持續指導的當地的培訓師(trainer),應對‘WE項目’的實施負責。在車間和工廠訪問期間,培訓師應指導員工和管理者如何在工作中更好的溝通,以及如何共同解決問題、處理摩擦。他們將引導參與者在他們的工廠中獨立的發展和實施一些措施。
