For the Quality Ladder, the rungs range from A to E with A being the top rung and so on.
關于質量階梯等級，等級是從A到E排列的，A為最高等級。
‘A’ - Best in Class最高級
High-tech product, high quality customer expectation and/or high value, e.g. high-end AV products, 'kite marked' safety products, etc.
高科技產品、高品質需求和/或高價值，例如高端AV產品，Kite標記的安全性產品等。
‘B’ - Very Capable較高級
Products requiring high safety / legislative control, e.g. electric power tools, mains lighting, SDA etc.
產品需要較高的安全性/法律控制，例如電動工具、照明燈具、SDA等。
‘C’ – Typical普通級
Products requiring high manufacturing control, medium safety / legislative control, e.g. garden furniture, children's paddling pools, striking hand tools, etc.
產品要求較高的生產控制、中等的安全性/法律控制，例如花園家俱、兒童游樂池、敲擊類手工具等。
‘D’ – Managed Risk較低級
Products requiring minimal safety control but with reasonably managed quality e.g. curtain poles, bathroom accessories, non-striking hand tools, etc.
產品對安全性控制的要求較低，但是質量必須過關，例如窗簾桿、衛浴產品、非敲擊類的手工具等。
‘E’ - At Risk最低級
Simple products requiring minimum quality control in manufacturing e.g. basic Xmas decorations (i.e. non CE), tile-spacers etc.
產品簡單，只需進行最低的生產質量控制，例如基本的圣誕裝飾品（例如非CE產品）、瓷磚添縫劑等。

For the Environment and Ethical Ladder, the rungs range from 1 to 5 with 1 being the top rung
and so on.

‘1’ - Proud of 令人驕傲級
Strategically important, with whom we intend to develop our business
從戰略發展上來講對我們非常重要的供應商/工廠，我們將與他們發展業務。
‘2’ – Happy with 令人歡欣級
Important factory with whom we have longer term business and/or key products
對我們較為重要的工廠，我們將與之保持長遠的業務關系。
‘3’ – Satisfied with令人滿意級
Factory with whom we have longer term business or are developing
我們打算長期保持業務關系或我們將要進行開發的工廠。
‘4’ – Managed Risk 存在一定風險級
Factory with whom we may want to develop business
我們也許打算與之開展業務的工廠。
‘5’ – At risk 存在很大風險級
Short term relationship, “one off” buy or transfer from agent to direct sourcing
短期合作的工廠，只進行一次合作就結束或者從代理轉為直接采購。
