Factory shall, in the absence of an on-site wastewater treatment facility, discharge wastewater into the off-site wastewater treatment facility (i.e. industrial park wastewater treatment facility, or municipal wastewater treatment facility) as regulated.工廠沒有廢水處理設施的, 可以排放到集中式廢水處理設施確保廢水仍經處理達標后排放.

Off-site wastewater treatment/effluent treatment plant  廠外集中式廢水處理設施

A 3rd party enterprise or organization who provides wastewater treatment service for more than two pollutant discharging entities by collecting their wastewater, and the wastewater discharged directly to environment should meet with the relevant limits.

The off-site treatment can be public wastewater treatment facility, regional wastewater treatment facility (i.e. industrial park, industry area etc.).

If wastewater is treated off-site, factory must have a knowledge of the name and address of the offsite third party treatment plant and have oversight over it to ensure it is in compliance.

The off-site treatment plant and relevant information shall provide access to Target as requested.
